Kevin Carroll is a classical guitarist and composer of musical depth and ability. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree with honors from Belmont University where he studied performance, pedagogue, and composition with Robert Thompson, John Pell, Bill Pursell and Mark Volker. His style is diverse, colorful, and vibrant, pulling from many eras of classical music, as well as jazz and world music.
His playing earned him the Port Huron Musicale award in 2008, the prize of which being a summer of study at the College Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati, under Clare Callahan. He has been featured twice in the PBS broadcast "Christmas at Belmont" in 2012 and 2013.
